Memory Care
Covid-19 Statement
At Ginter Hall South we follow County, State and CDC recommendations and protocols.
At Ginter Hall South we work hard to help our residents and their loved ones ease the frustrations and fear that often accompany memory loss conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Our memory care community puts the resident first.
We seek to understand a senior’s history, their past stories and sense of identity. Through their memories we can better relate to their world and help the senior respond to our caregivers. Our caregivers provide specialized activities for our memory care seniors in a monitored environment where residents may engage in group activities, exercise, family visits, pet therapy, or accompanied outings around the Richmond area, depending on each resident’s individual assessment for memory care needs.
After nearly 40 years of providing memory care for seniors, the associates and management of Ginter Hall South continue to assist many families coping with loved ones suffering from cognitive challenges.
While perhaps the only certainty is that no two seniors experience memory loss the same way, we offer our experience and practice in memory care for conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, to assist you and your loved ones as you navigate this environment over time. You can take comfort in knowing that our staffing is directly employed by Ginter Hall South, with many of our Associates being with the community for five, ten, or even more years.
All levels of Memory Care residency at Ginter Hall South provide 24-hours a day, seven days a week, care to assist our residents.
The services include individually climate controlled studios, daily housekeeping services, beauty and barber services, three meals served daily designed with senior’s health in mind, as well as a wide selection of weekly activities to engage our seniors. We offer both furnished and unfurnished studios. Our care givers are also ready to address any of our senior’s unexpected needs or emergencies. We have physicians, dentists, podiatrists, optometrists, hearing specialists, and therapists to provide on-site medical services.
